APDT Rally Obedience

Dogs and handlers participating in events

Is your dog quick to follow your commands? Does he love to please you by listening and obeying? Turn your dog’s obedience into a fun and exciting sport! Rally Obedience, better known as Rally-O or just Rally, is a team sport for you and your dog that tests your dog’s obedience and speed.

In Rally-O, you and your dog navigate a course of numbered signs, each sign containing an exercise your dog must perform based on the signals you give him. The exercises include Sit-Down-Sit, Send Over Jump, Right Turn and Serpentine Weave, among many others.

These Rally-O trials are sanctioned by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), so your dog can earn points toward a national ranking! Read the APDT Rally-O rules to learn more.
